United States President Donald Trump calls Iran the “most destructive force” in the Middle East. He blamed Tehran for instability throughout the region, and warned that the United States would never allow him to obtain nuclear weapons.
Reported by the News Agency Reuters And Al ArabiyaWednesday (5/14/2025), Trump said Iran had an option between continuing “chaos and terror” or embracing the road to peace.
Tehran has repeatedly denied accusations of igniting the instability of the Middle East.

Trump said he was willing to make a new agreement with the Islamic Republic, but only if the leaders changed direction.
“I want to make an agreement with Iran,” he said on Tuesday (5/13) local time.
“But if Iranian leaders refuse this peace …, we have no choice but to put a large maximum pressure,” he added.
Speaking at a peak investment meeting in the capital city of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, Trump warned that “Iran will never have nuclear weapons,” and says his offer for an agreement will not last forever.
Trump also underlined the striking difference between what he called the “constructive vision” of Saudi Arabia and “fall and suffering” which according to him was caused by Iranian leaders.
“There is no sharper difference with the path that you have traveled in the Arabian Peninsula other than the disaster that occurred in the Gulf of Iran,” Trump said.
