President Trump posted on his social networking site Truth Social, “The United States needs Greenland for national security.It is essential for the development of the Golden Dome (next-generation missile defense system).The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) should pave the way for territorial possession.” “With Greenland in American hands, NATO will be strong and effective. Anything less will not be acceptable,” he said.
