LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Central Kentucky residents have several entertainment options this weekend, from motorsports to comedy to holiday displays.
The 14th Annual Kentucky Invitational Truck & Tractor Pull runs Thursday through Saturday at Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park. Some of the best pullers from across the region will compete in the event.
Saturday’s finals event begins at 6 p.m. with admission costing $30. Spectators will see 10,000 hot farm tractors, light-limited super stock tractors, and other vehicles.
Comedy show features viral performer
Cantonese American standup comedian Ray Lau will perform at Comedy Off Broadway. Lau is known for his “Chipotle Bean Scheme” video that has been seen millions of times online.
The show is restricted to ages 18 and older. Tickets cost $25 for the 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Saturday performances.
Holiday light display ends Sunday
The Legendary Festival of Lights at Legends Field continues through Sunday, Jan. 4. The display features light tunnels, Christmas arches, candy canes, and other decorations throughout the field and concourse.
Tickets are now $5 and will remain at that price until the light show ends Sunday. Advance tickets can be purchased at lexingtonlegends.com.
