Travis Kelce: Chiefs Return Confirmed – No Retirement!

Travis Kelce remains with the Kansas City Chiefs. The NFL star is expected to return for his 14th season with the team.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported that the three-time champion I would reject more money from other teams in free agency to stay with the Chiefs.

Previously, The Athetic had reported that the 36-year-old tigh end would continue his career in the NFL, but it was not known for certain if he would remain with the Kansas City Chiefs. After the season ended, Kelce, who has only been with the Chiefs after being selected in the third round of the 2013 draft, faced speculation that he would opt for the retirement. Without a contract with the Chiefs in 2026, the tight end would become unrestricted free agent.

At the beginning of January, in New Heightsthe podcast he shares with his brother Jason, Travis stated that he would be willing to return for the 2026 season if his body allowed it. “I think that If my body can recover and rest and I can feel safe that I can go out and do another 18, 20, 21 weeks, I think I would do it in a heartbeat,” Kelce said.
