Life Back Home
“I go straight back to school and usually school welcomes me back by giving me morning playground duties and I will and truly hit the ground running,” Brett explained. “Then I work really hard to get up to date, to catch up on what I missed out on, and then before you know it, you’re back into a routine, and life just gets to be normal again.”
Matt added, “We slot back into our social circle and our family and get back to the people that we’ve accidentally ignored for five months.”
A Lasting Partnership
Having been together for 23 years, Matt and Brett find it easy to spend so much time together. “For us it’s very easy to spend 24 hours a day with your best friend. That’s part of the reason why we love Travel Guides because it gives us that opportunity to spend all of our time together,” Brett said.
early Days of Travel Guides
Matt and Brett became part of the Travel Guides cast in 2020 and filmed two seasons before the show aired due to Covid-related delays. This gave them time to prepare for the attention that followed.
The pair are often recognized and approached by fans seeking travel advice, which they are always happy to provide.
