High risk

The police and its partners consider undermining within the transport and logistics sector as a high risk. Criminal networks often use this sector to transport and hide illegal goods such as drugs, weapons or money. They also buy people to work in the sector, or put them under pressure to work with. These forms of crime entail violence and undermine both the transport sector and the government. For this reason, the emphasis in these traffic controls was on combating undermining in the transport and logistics sector.
