The concert of the Lundstrem Trio, whose participants are Leonid Lundstrem, Maria Voskresenskaya and Vladimir Nor, concluded the Christmas festival on January 14.
The musicians performed the trio in C major opus 87 by Johannes Brahms and the trio by Pyotr Tchaikovsky “In Memory of the Great Artist”. They presented this program for the first time for the 30 years of the group’s existence, and its first listeners and spectators were residents of the Transbaikalia districts: the group performed in Krasnokamensk, Kalga, Nerchinsky Plant and Aleksandrovsky Plant.
“There were a lot of children in the hall, I didn’t even understand if it was one class or several, there were so many people [было]. They were great at listening to music that they were probably not used to. Then everyone went to take pictures with us, it was very nice. In the outback, of course, there are wonderful people, communication is very pleasant. I have the best impressions,” Maria Voskresenskaya told reporters at the press approach before the concert.
Leonid Lundstrem, answering a journalist’s question, jokingly noted that the frosts during the tour in Transbaikalia this year were not severe: “Something was not enough, minus 38 degrees in total.”
“The farther from the capital, the more responsive the people are. I kept worrying and wondering how we would bring quite complex music here, but [произведения] “We received it so well, on a heartfelt level,” Vladimir Nor shared his impressions.
The Christmas festival was first held in Transbaikalia in 2023 and has since become an annual event. This year, his guests were the lead singer of the Agatha Christie group Vadim Samoilov, the founder of the Semantic Hallucinations group Sergei Bobunets, poets Dmitry Moldavsky and Egor Sergeev. In total, about 5 thousand people attended the concerts and creative meetings of the festival.
