Tragic Avalanches Claim Lives in French Alps
In a series of unfortunate events, avalanches in the French Alps have led to the deaths of five skiers. Four Norwegian skiers lost their lives in the southwestern part of the region, while a Swiss skier was fatally struck in Chamonix.
Severe Avalanche Strikes in Val-Cenis

This avalanche claimed the life of a 30-year-old Swiss woman who was skiing off-piste on the Aiguillette des Posettes, part of the Mont Blanc massif. Tragically, she was with her family—her father escaped injury, while her brother required medical tests at the hospital.
