Group Tours will make a comeback with their 5th mini album on April 27th.
Tours announced their comeback by releasing the teaser for their 5th mini album ‘NO TRAGEDY’ on the Hive Labels YouTube channel and the global super fan platform Weverse at midnight on the 30th. This video was first released as a surprise at the ‘2026 Tours second fan meeting 42: Club in Seoul’ held at the Ticket Link Live Arena (former handball stadium) at Olympic Park in Songpa-gu, Seoul on the 29th and received a warm response.
The video shows Tours running out of breath and gathering in one place. When the members, who were catching their breath in a dark space with flashing neon signs, suddenly turn around, the comeback schedule and the new album name ‘NO TRAGEDY’ appear on the screen.
‘No Tragedy’ is the album name that heralds Tours’ new story of independently completing love rather than conforming to a predetermined fate. Their agency, Pledis Entertainment, said, “Please look forward to seeing the changes in Tours, who has grown up significantly since his youth.”
Tours has led the popular trend with its own genre, ‘Boyhood Pop’, which sings stories of sparkling youth. In addition to the debut song ‘First Meeting Doesn’t Go As Planned’, which will be ranked #1 on Melon’s annual chart in 2024, ‘If I’m S, You Be My N’, ‘Isn’t it cool to follow your heart?’ The back received a lot of love. Recently, they proved their music power and popularity by causing a boom in the ‘Ental Challenge‘ with ‘Overdrive‘.
Tours’ performance on the global stage also stands out. Tours recorded the highest ranking (2nd place) for an overseas artist in the ‘Oricon Annual Ranking 2025’ rookie ranking, and won ‘New Artist of the Year (Asia)’, which is awarded to the rookie who achieved the highest sales that year at the ’40th Japan Gold Disc Awards’. Furthermore, he was named as the only K-pop artist on the list of ‘Future 25 (25 people who will lead the future music industry)’ announced by Rolling Stone of the United States this year.
