The upper air is cold enough for snow, but that snow will usually have melted in the less cold lower air layer before it reaches the bottom. There is therefore a chance of melting snowflakes in the higher south of the province. In the lower center and north it will mostly be rain.
In the afternoon it will be a maximum of 3 to 4 degrees.
In the night leading up to Friday, the mercury will drop towards freezing again. If something falls, it will usually be snowflakes.
