Tochigi City School is excited to announce the introduction of its groundbreaking Game Skills Class, starting in April 2025.This specialized program is designed for students entering the 2nd through 4th grades, offering a unique approach to football education.

Focus on Holistic Game Understanding

Unlike customary training methods, the Game Skills class emphasizes practical request through match-based scenarios. Participants will hone individual techniques, tactical awareness, collaborative strategies, and the mental fortitude essential for competitive play. This approach mirrors the growing trend in youth sports to prioritize game intelligence alongside physical prowess. According to a recent study by the National Alliance for Youth Sports, programs that integrate game-based learning see a 20% higher retention rate among young athletes.

The Game Skills class is mainly about games (matches), and is intended to help you acquire skills while challenging the individual skills, tactics, group tactics, and internal elements required for the game.

Premier Training Habitat

Students will regularly train at CITYFOOTBALL STATION, the home stadium of the Tochigi City Football Club. This provides an unparalleled prospect to experience playing on a professional-grade natural grass field, fostering an inspiring atmosphere conducive to skill enhancement. Exposure to diverse training environments is crucial for developing adaptability and resilience in young players.

Trial Session Details: Experience the Difference

To give prospective students a taste of the Game Skills class, Tochigi City School is hosting a free trial session. Interested participants should review the following details:

• Eligibility: Students entering 2nd to 4th grade in April 2025.
• Date: April 11th (Friday)
• Time: 17:00 – 18:10 (70 minutes).Reception begins 30 minutes prior.
• Capacity: limited to 16 participants (first-come, first-served).
• Cost: FREE
• What to Bring: Soccer attire, water bottle, and a ball (if owned).
• Location: LUXPERIOR FOOTBALL PARK Society Futsal Court (1038-1 Mitani, Iwafune-cho, Tochigi City).

Please note that cancellations due to inclement weather will not be individually communicated; participants should proceed to the venue as scheduled. Participants who are not already students of Tochigi City School are responsible for their own insurance coverage during the trial session.

Game Skills Class: Program Overview

The regular Game Skills class will be held every Friday from 17:00 to 18:00, starting April 18th, 2025. The program is designed to accommodate up to 20 students, with enrollment closing once capacity is reached.

• Instruction: Led by Tochigi City Academy Staff and other qualified instructors.

  • Annual Fee: ¥4,000
  • Monthly Fee: ¥6,000
  • Multiple Class Discount: ¥11,000 for two classes (¥1,000 discount)
