Thomas Spann Departs Kleine Zeitung for Austrian Chamber of Commerce

After eleven years as managing director, Thomas Spann transitions to a new role; Xenia Daum to take over management duties.

Thomas Spens, who has served as the managing director of the “Kleine Zeitung” in Graz and Klagenfurt since 2014 and as president of the Austrian media Analysis since the end of 2024, is leaving his post.

Thomas Spann is leaving the Styria Group to join the Austria Chamber of Commerce in June. His responsibilities in management will be taken over by Xenia Daum.

Spann will become deputy to Jochen Danninger, the Secretary General of the Austria Chamber of Commerce. The 59-year-old departs after a significant tenure.
