SPACE — Scientists have mapped the weather on a planet 280 light years from Earth, a hot gas planet with one side permanently facing the sun and the other shrouded in eternal night.
The two-faced planet, named WASP-43b, consists mostly of hydrogen and helium. It is much hotter than any gas giant planet in our solar system, due to its proximity to its parent star.
