From January 30 A. Kandrotas is included in the list of persons subject to the ban on managing legal entities. As indicated in the public notice of the Register Center blacklistedfor cellophane, this ban will be valid for five years – until the end of January 2029.

The assistant to the chairman of the Kaunas District Court, Milda Kryžė, informed “Siena” that the restrictions against A. Kandrots were applied during the examination of the bankruptcy case of the company “Lasilita”. This story is what started Siena’s investigations into Cellophane’s business model, taking over troubled companies that go bankrupt, leaving the state and other creditors with a broken geld.

According to M. Kryžės, the bankruptcy administrator of “Lasilitas” applied for adding A. Kandrot to the “black list” last August – right after “Siena” published the investigation “Business Plan – Cellophane”.

The court granted the request to restrict A. Kandrot’s right to hold managerial positions last November, stating that Celofano’s “illegal inaction and deliberate choice of such behavior confirm the dangerous nature of his behavior and the threat to transparent business”. It was established that A. Kandrots “deliberately and maliciously” avoided handing over the documents and assets of the bankrupt company and has not fulfilled these duties to this day.

How A Trip To A Beach In Mexico…

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Two Australians and an American were doing what they loved most on the stunning and isolated coast of the state of Baja California, in northwestern Mexico.

Their latest images on social media showed them sitting watching the waves crash against the rocks.

Initial investigations suggest that what ended their lives was the result of a fortuitous event such as the passing of a van full of malicious people.

The surfers were shot in the head and their bodies were dumped in a covered pit several kilometers away. The development of events was nightmarish.

According to the preliminary hypothesis, brothers Jake and Callum Robinson, from Australia, and American Jack Carter Rhoad had made a surfing stop at Punta San José, about 80 kilometers south of Ensenada. There they were attacked on April 28 or 29.

As soon as the police arrived at their last known campsite it was clear that something had gone wrong.

There were blood stains and drag marks “like heavy packages,” which raised suspicions of an attack, according to Baja California state prosecutor María Elena Andrade Ramírez, in an attempt to reconstruct the scene.

Chad: Tense Atmosphere After First Presidential Election In…

In Chad, a tense atmosphere enveloped the capital as polls closed and vote counting began, marking the first presidential election in the African Sahel since a series of coups d’état.

Dozens of security forces were deployed to N’Djamena, accompanied by armored vehicles, while soldiers and riot police patrolled the southern neighborhoods, as reported by Reuters.

Silence dominated the streets that would normally be abuzz in the final hours of voting. In Moundou, the country’s second-largest city, a voter was fatally shot when gunmen opened fire at a polling place, local media reported.

Meanwhile, nomads, representing around 7% of the population, faced frustrations due to logistical problems, preventing them from voting early as planned.

Analysts speculate that President Mahamat Idriss Deby, who took power following the death of his father in April 2021, has a clear advantage, although his main challenger, former Prime Minister Succes Masra, managed to draw impressive crowds during the campaign.

The election pits Deby against Masra, as well as former prime minister Albert Pahimi Padacke and seven other candidates.

The tense political climate was intensified by the murder of Yaya Dillo, an opposition politician who planned to run against Deby,
