Montreal, July 22, 2025 – Sunday August 3 at 2:30 p.m. at the symphonic house, theFrancophonie Orchestra (Of) presents a concert of Jean-Philippe TremblayMusical Director emeritus of the OF. This great concert concludes the conducting competition of the orchestra conducted by the OF, in order to determine its next artistic direction for a three -year term. The public had the privilege of discovering the universe of the three participating finalist conductors through a series of three concerts. Emmanuelle Lambert-Lemoine, Léa Moisan-Perrier et Julien Proulx The honors will compete during this evening which promises to be magnificent.

A three -step musical competition where the public is called to vote

Of the four concerts, the first three allowed the three finalists to assert their artistic know-how and their ability to inspire all the musicians of the OF, made up of young professionals graduates from the biggest musical institutions. The new artistic direction of the orchestra, chosen at the end of the competition for a three -year term, will be announced during the closing concert to be held on August 3 at the Symphonic House.

True to its mission to learn, innovate and share, the Francophonie Orchestra makes its artistic management competition a participatory experience : A public vote will enrich the selection process led by a specialized jury.

“The future of classical music goes through audacity and openness. This participatory process testifies to the spirit of innovation and sharing that has animated the OF since its foundation. This 2025 season will not only be a highlight on the musical level, but also a celebration of transmission and renewal, “said Jean-Philippe Tremblay, Musical Director emeritus of the OF.

Three chefs, an artistic vision to defend

Emmanuelle Lambert-Lemoine Currently runs several orchestras in Quebec and Ontario. Recognized for her innate musicality and her intuitive link with musicians, she has a solid academic journey and benefits from international training experiences.

Léa Moisan-Perrier Direct the Symphony Orchestra of the Estuary and the St. Andrew & St. Paul choir. Trained on the piano, singing and management, she won brilliantly in both the symphonic and choral repertoire, with prestigious collaborations in Canada and Europe.

Julien Proulx Directs the Drummondville Symphony Orchestra since 2014. Winner of several opus prizes, it is renowned for its daring artistic choices, its spirit of innovation and its commitment to regional music communities.
