Stephen Welch e Here Tseayodirectors fired by John Textor of the council of Eagle Heresy on Monday (26/1), they were against the contribution model proposed by the North American businessman to pay off the urgent debts of the Botafogoincluding the transfer banreported “GE”.
This was one of John Textor’s recent attitudes that the pair did not agree with. The dismissal of the two was made before the Eagle General Assembly and made the duo’s votes invalid – thus, Textor would participate alone in the vote in an attempt to regain power, with the aim of removing the current board headed by Michele Kang e Michael Gerlinger.
The dismissal of Welch and Tseayo was considered the trigger for Ares, Eagle’s creditor, to trigger a clause to take power away from John Textor and take control of Eagle.
The American businessman says that there was no legal action and disputes the legality of the measure adopted by Ares. Furthermore, in an interview with FogãoNETJohn Textor called the general assembly that will be held in France this Wednesday a “secret council” and accused Kang of harming Botafogo.
