Texas Oil Price Drop: Iran Attack Risk Eases

New York, Jan 15 (EFE).- The price of Texas Intermediate Oil (WTI) opened this Thursday with a drop of 4.11%, to $59.47 per barrel, after statements by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, calmed fears that a US attack against Iran was imminent.

At 09:00 local time (13:00 GMT), WTI futures contracts for delivery in February were down $2.55 compared to the close of the previous session. EFE
