One of the highlights of the schedule is the resumption of the historic rivalry against the Ohio State Buckeyes. The first of a home-and-home series kicks off in the fourth game of the season, marking the Longhorns’ first trip to Columbus since their convincing 2005 victory.
Difficult Early Stretch
Texas will open SEC play on the road, facing a gauntlet of challenging opponents. The Longhorns will travel to Gainesville to take on the Florida Gators, then head north to the Cotton Bowl to battle the Oklahoma Sooners.
