To use a custom lock sound, your Tesla must be equipped with external pedestrian warning system (PWS)which appeared on vehicles around September 2019. However, exact availability may vary by model and region.
- Some vehicles produced during the transition period may not have the PWS speaker installed, but have the necessary connectivity. In this case, a retrofit via Tesla service is possible.
- An easy way to check: If your Tesla makes a sound at low speed, it has the PWS speaker.
Find Custom Sounds

Steps:
- Download the desired file.
- Rename the file to LockChime.wav.
- Place the file at the root of a USB key.

- It must be in the root directory of USB stickand not in a subfolder

- The custom horn only operates when the vehicle is in Park.
