Teresa’s Journey Comes to an End Peacefully
Teresa, a cherished member of her family and community, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025. Surrounded by her loving family, her final moments were filled with comfort and the familiar faces of those dear to her.
A Life of Love and Family
Teresa was beloved as the wife of the late Tom. Their partnership was marked by mutual respect and unwavering affection. She leaves behind a legacy of care and support, handing down these values to her children.
Her warm embrace extended to her five children: Jane, Eileen (Broderick), John, and Brian. Each of them held her love close and it shaped the individuals they are today.
As a devoted sister to Geraldine Collum Templemore, Teresa’s bond with her sibling was a source of strength and joy. Her love did not stop there; she was a cherished grandmother to Christopher, Paula, Niamh, Ciara, Amy, Caoimhe, Aisling, Méabh, and Aoife. Her great-grandchildren, Adam and Jack, also found a special place in her heart.
Missing Her Already
The news of her passing has left a void in the hearts of many. Her sons, daughters, sister, son-in-law Donnacha, daughters-in-law Eileen and Terri, as well as her brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family members, relatives, and friends will all miss her deeply. Teresa’s presence was a beacon of warmth and light, and her passing is felt especially now.

Services and Tributes
Those who wish to pay their respects can visit Teresa at Macken’s Funeral Home, located at Distillery Road, Wexford, Y35 HP29, on Monday, January 27, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The removal will take place at 10:30 am on Tuesday, January 28, to St. Alphonsus’ Church in Barntown, Y35 NR40, for a solemn funeral mass at 11:00 am. Following the mass, she will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
The family has requested that the house be kept private. They also asked that any floral tributes be from family members only.
