The Exhaust Processor is responsible for the vacuum processing and assembly of components used in the production of image intensifying tubes. This involves:
- Loading pre-assembled tubes into the exhaust station.
- Processing and activating tubes and cathodes under ultra-high vacuum conditions.
- Sealing and unloading processed tubes.
- Meticulously recording all process data in the Quality Monitoring System (QTS).
- Delivering tubes and associated documentation to initial testing (I-TEST).
