The Exhaust Processor is responsible for the vacuum processing and assembly of components used in the production of image intensifying tubes. This involves:

• Loading pre-assembled tubes into the exhaust station.
• Processing and activating tubes and cathodes under ultra-high vacuum conditions.
• Sealing and unloading processed tubes.
• Meticulously recording all process data in the Quality Monitoring System (QTS).
• Delivering tubes and associated documentation to initial testing (I-TEST).
