Tele2 has been recognized for it’s commitment to sustainability, achieving a top ranking among Swedish companies. The company’s efforts have allowed it to outperform global technology leaders in environmental and social responsibility.

Tele2’s sustainability score reached 79.37 out of 100, placing it ahead of companies like Apple, Microsoft, and eBay.
The ranking methodology assesses companies based on “Liabilities and Ratings”, “Reporting and Transparency” and “Management,” using over 20 key indicators.
Earlier in June, Tele2 was included in Corporate Knights’ list of the “50 most sustainable European companies”.
The Tele2 Group has achieved a 96 percent reduction in absolute emissions of greenhouse gases (scopes 1 and 2), exceeding its initial target of a 90 percent reduction by 2025.
The company aims to reuse 30 percent of previously sold mobile phones by 2030 to reduce electronic waste and is striving for zero emissions.
Tele2 is implementing sustainable practices such as using green energy, transitioning to electronic contracts, minimizing paper usage, optimizing transportation, and promoting eco-friendly commuting options for employees.
