Telangana Ration Card Distribution Timeline
Qualifying families in Telangana will be identified through the caste census survey. The government has set January 26, 2025 as the start date for issuing new ration cards, following a verification process from January 16 to January 20, 2025. Data entry for the new cards commenced on January 21, 2025.
The government has also set a deadline of January 31, 2025, for completing the e-KYC process. During this period, individuals need to visit their nearest ration shop for biometric verification and Aadhaar linking.

How to Check the Telangana Ration Card List 2025
To track the ration card list, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the website: https://epds.telangana.gov.in/FoodSecurityAct/.
- Click on the Reports button.
- Select the ‘Ration Card Reports’ tab, then choose ‘FSC Card Status Report’.
- Select your district and corresponding shop number.
- The list of ration cards for that shop will be displayed.
Types of Telangana Ration Cards
Telangana offers three types of ration cards to qualifying individuals:
Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) Cards
Eligibility includes:
- Elderly widows, disabled persons, individuals aged 60 or over, and household heads.
- Landless agricultural laborers, carpenters, rickshaw pullers, rural artisans, craftsmen, marginal farmers, and blacksmiths.
- Primitive tribal households.
Antyodaya Food Security Cards (AFSC)
Qualifying families must meet the following criteria:
- Annual income under Rs.1.5 lakh in rural areas and Rs.2 lakh in urban areas.
- Land area of less than 3.50 acres for wetland and 7.50 acres for dry land.
Food Security Cards (FSC)
Households with stable incomes that do not fit into the above categories are eligible for Food Security Cards.
Eligibility Criteria for Telangana Ration Card 2025
To qualify for a ration card in 2025, individuals must satisfy these requirements:
- Permanent residency in Telangana.
- No existing Telangana Food Security Card (FSC) or ration card.
- Part of the poor or economically weaker sections in Telangana.
Additional eligible groups include newly married couples residing in Telangana and citizens with expired temporary ration cards.
