The IRGC said that three law enforcement personnel and one civilian were killed in clashes with gunmen at a checkpoint in eastern Kerman province on the road to the southern city of Zahedan. In a separate incident, “armed thugs” attacked police in the city of Iranshahr in Sistan and Baluchestan province, but no officers were harmed.
