The police have control over three perpetrators.
There is a standstill in train traffic at Drammen station after a conductor was subjected to violence on a train entering the city.
– The police have control over three perpetrators. All are under 18, says operations manager Ståle Olstad Fuglaas to VG.
The reason is that three teenagers are said to have acted out on the train. The conductor had asked them to get off at Drammen station.
– They didn’t like that, and attacked him. The conductor is bleeding from the nose, has a cracked lip and has a cold in the temple, says Fuglaas.
The police and the conductor are now considering whether he should go to the emergency room. Fuglaas says that the incident has had major consequences for traffic.
– The trains have been standing since 21.20. Some of the young people ran along the railway line and crossed the tracks. We had to stop all the trains because of that, he says.
At 22.04, Bane Nor reports that the trains are running again.
– Train traffic is now running as normal again, says press officer in Vy, Siv Egger Westin to VG just before 11pm.
