FLAGSTAFF, Arizona – Texas Tech (6-3) recovered from the previous night’s competition to defeat UC San Diego (1-8) in a five-set match, marking the second victory of the weekend for the Red raiders.
Ashlyn Bellamy spearheaded the team’s offence with 17 kills, while Addie Kanouff contributed 14. reagan Engler achieved 10 kills for the ninth consecutive match, and peyton Dunn recorded a double-double with 35 assists and 13 digs.
Sierra Grizzle once again lead the team defensively with 17 digs and also had a team-high four aces. Aliyah McDonald and tatum Johnson both added five kills and two blocks, rounding out the primary scorers for the Red Raiders.
