From #MomTok to roses! ABC has tapped Taylor Frankie Paul,known for her role in Hulu’s “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” as the lead for season 22 of “The Bachelorette.”

This casting choice marks a unique crossover for the reality dating franchise, bringing in a star already known for her involvement in another popular reality series.

The announcement was made during a recent episode of alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast. The show is returning after a brief hiatus, with Jenn Tran being the most recent Bachelorette, whose season concluded in the fall of 2024. Paul’s season is slated to premiere in 2026.

Paul,a single mother of three,has a important online presence due to her involvement with #MomTok,a community of Mormon mom-influencers. She gained further notoriety when she revealed a “soft swinging” scandal involving herself and other members of the group, which became a central storyline in “the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.”

Her personal life, including her relationships, has been a focal point of the Hulu series. In season two, she dealt with the revelation that her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, had been involved with another woman early in their relationship.

The popularity of #MomTok personalities continues to rise, and Paul’s new role as the Bachelorette underscores this trend.
