F“Taskmaster” fans: prepare your plans for New Year’s Eve. RTP1 will broadcast a special of one of the most acclaimed programs on Portuguese television.
The announcement was made on the public station’s Instagram page where we can see the luxury cast of this special broadcast: Cândido Costa, Jessica Athayde, Toy, Gilmário Vemba and Inês Aires Pereira.

“I adore”; “The best cast”; “Thank you for the Christmas present”, wrote fans of the format presented by Vasco Palmeirim and Nuno Markl.
The comedian also shared the news on his Instagram page.
“The transition from 2024 to 2025 was not enough, and therefore, the stakes have been raised – and the night that takes us to 2026 will be an odyssey! Cândido Costa, Jessica Athayde, Toy, Gilmário Vemba and Inês Aires Pereira are the luxurious cast of veterans for whom we have prepared arduous missions, in an apocalypse of wrapping paper, darts, clothes and even foam! Let’s toast together to a 2026 that is much more enjoyable than 2025! On the 31st at night on RTP1!”, said Markl.
Remember that the big winner of the sixth season of the comedy program was Cândido Costa. Another season of “Taskmaster” is planned for next year, but the premiere date is not yet known.
