On l’appelle office surgery. En français, elle désigne tout acte, toute intervention chirurgicale pratiquée par un chirurgien en « cabinet », nécessitant une anesthésie locale, mais qui se déroule hors bloc opératoire. Ce n’est pas une chirurgie en ambulatoire. C’est plus économique aussi, et plus écologique.
