Surgeon’s Regret: Delayed Cholesterol Treatment & Health Risks

Plastic surgery, burns and laser consultant Dr. Mamdouh Ashi expressed his regret for his delay in starting cholesterol-lowering medications, after his high harmful cholesterol for years caused calcifications in the arteries of the heart, while the Ministry of Health and specialized doctors stressed the necessity of not stopping cholesterol medications without medical advice.
