Such a procedure can formalize and spread in parliament, as Szymon Hołownia has already appealed, especially since as a result Haładyj’s candidacy was accepted almost unanimously. Eight politicians from the Confederation and PSL broke out.

On September 8, representatives of the third sector and experts took part in the public hearing, and the day later both candidates were at the disposal of parliamentary clubs. MPs asked and confronted because, as we hear, NIK is an exemplary export commodity of the Polish administration, which is just coming out of a long, political, “disease”.

— Of course, the current “ping-pong” will take place, but the Supreme Audit Office is the central organ of the state. He is an institution that, generally, to us, Poles, came out. This is almost our export product for many emerging democracy. I think they wanted [PiS — red.] avoid – In the ulcer.

Next to PSL (MP Tadeusz Samborski) and the Confederation (5 suspension votes, 2 against), he opposed the candidacy of Haładyja, among others Lech Wałęsa, who as one of the first, at the beginning of August, turned to Prime Minister Donald Tusk about Maintenance as Marian Banasiain his opinion, “proven in battle for Polish affairs”.

I had too little knowledge about the presidential candidate, I was not convinced that he had strength, will and determination to continue examining some matters – admits MP PSL. Although he took part in a club meeting with the presidential candidate, he remained skeptical. When asked about the concept of Lech Wałęsa, he replies: maybe.
Maybe there is something to it. In his presentation I did not read great determination in the investigation of certain matters that the Supreme Audit Office should examine. As a rule, I agree with the postulate on the extension of Marian Banas’s term of office

Together, they are much more radical than the Civic Platform. This is once again when we are dealing with discrediting the institution of the Polish state. Earlier they did it on the occasion of the elections, when they undermined the work of the PKW. Now they do it with the NIK.
— NIK is not an institution for Wendetta – continues MP Zawisza. – Marian Banaś used it like a political ax. This is what you have to end with. NIK are officials, controllers who cannot be an element of political struggle – he argues. In the spirit of specification of post -audit recommendations, he adds that he is counting on NIK reports that will improve the process of law, amending laws.
Did the politicization of the judges help the case? NO. And I deeply hope that we turn this process with the choice of Mr. Haładyj

Michał Wawer from the Confederation replies that he voted against Haładyj, because he is associated with both governments of the largest parties. He declares that he would behave similarly when voting for Tadeusz Dziuba’s candidacy.
