The 17th annual Summer Fest is set to take place at the San Luigi Oratory in Verghera di Samarate (via Mazzini 35) on friday, June 13th, Saturday, June 14th, and Sunday, June 15th.

Live Music and Culinary Delights

The festivities begin on Friday with a communal dinner. The “Ila cuisine” and bar services will be available starting at 7:00 PM. The evening will feature live music from the “Iris big band,” a Big Band version of the Lonate Pozzolo Philharmonic company, which was re-established in October 2020. the band includes sections of saxophones, trumpets, trombones, drums, percussion, guitar, bass, and keyboard.

On saturday, no stop football returns with great demand.

Football Tournament and Special Dishes

On Saturday, the highly anticipated football tournament will commence, with eight teams competing from noon to secure a spot in Sunday’s semifinals and finals. Attendees can enjoy refreshments and an aperitif before dinner, which will feature a special dish: mixed fried seafood (squid rings, shrimp, and cod tufts). the evening will conclude with spaghetti aglio e olio.

Foam Party and Final Events

Sunday will be filled with key events, including the football semifinals and finals to determine the tournament champion. In the afternoon, around 4:00 PM, a foam party will be held for children, followed by another foam party for all ages around 5:00 PM. The food stand and bar will also be open during dinner.

Food and Drink Options

Throughout the weekend,the food stand and bar will offer a variety of options,including salamelle,chops,bruschetta,and fried pizza,along with fresh beer. This year’s culinary novelty is the mixed fruit dish on Saturday evening. All evenings will feature “The foil,” a mix of croquettes, olives, and arancini. The bar and kitchen will be open from the start of each day’s activities.
