Jean-François Bourdon was removed from his position as principal of the Touchard – Washington high school, in Le Mans, after several years of tension within the establishment. The news was communicated to the teaching team on Monday March 9, 2026. Sunday March 15, the Sud education union 72 welcomed this decision but regrets a procedure that was too long.

C’est par ce mot que le syndicat Sud éducation 72 a réagi, dimanche 15 mars 2026, à la suspension du proviseur du lycée Touchard – Washington, au Mans (Sarthe). L’annonce de la mise en retrait de Jean-François Bourdon de la tête du plus gros établissement secondaire de la ville a été faite à l’équipe enseignante le 9 mars 2026. Le courriel était signé par Dominique Poglio, directrice académique des services de l’Éducation nationale de la Sarthe (DSDEN)….
