Luis Suarez has commended Lamine Yamal for his remarkable performances as Inter Miami prepares for the Club World Cup.

Yamal, who debuted at 15 in 2023 and later won the Euros with Spain, recently completed a treble-winning season under Hansi Flick. He is now considered a potential Ballon d’Or contender.

Ofen likened to Lionel Messi,yamal has garnered praise from Suarez,Messi’s close friend and current teammate at Inter Miami. Suarez shared his thoughts during a recent media appearance.

“Lamine is a player who at 17 years of age is showing great maturity. He takes duty in critically important games, they are challenges that he sets himself and as a Barcelona fan I am very happy for him,” Suarez stated.

Echoing cristiano Ronaldo’s sentiments about managing expectations for the young player, Suarez advised Yamal “to continue enjoying [himself] and gain experience to continue improving in the things he still has to learn, as we all learned when we were 18 years old.”

Despite his youth, Suarez believes that yamal is “a player who is marking an era and [making] a very big difference”.

Regarding Inter miami’s club World Cup campaign, which begins against Al-Alhy, Suarez is optimistic about the team’s chances of advancing despite facing tough competition from teams like porto and Palmeiras.

“We face a very tough and competitive group,from which we will try to advance by doing our best,then we will see who will be our next opponent,” Suarez added.
