Students from SMK Jalan Mengkibol in Kluang, Johor, recently participated in an international research publication online seminar, marking a importent achievement for the school. The event, hosted by SMA Nasional KPS Balikpapan, Indonesia, saw the participation of 22 Form Four students from the school on May 8.
The school’s principal, Noor Azura Jaferri, and English language teacher, Vishin Nair Chandran, were invited to serve as examiner and co-examiner at the seminar.
During the seminar, the SMK Jalan Mengkibol students were given an early introduction to academic research, which is expected to help them in their future tertiary education endeavors. They also had the opportunity to interact with the paper presenters, engaging in discussions and asking questions.
