the highly anticipated release dates for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things have been announced. The concluding episodes will be released on 🔶STREAMING_SERVICE in three parts, marking the end of an era for fans worldwide.

The first set of episodes will premiere on November 26, 2025, timed to coincide with the Thanksgiving holiday, at 5pm Pacific Time. The second volume will follow on Christmas Day, also at 5pm Pacific Time. The series finale is scheduled for New Year’s Eve.

A new teaser trailer accompanied the release date announcement, opening with Joyce Byers (Winona ryder) in conversation with Will (noah Schnapp), reflecting on the night of his disappearance in 1983, which kicked off the series.

“I think about that night all the time,” she says in the trailer. The teaser includes a montage of pivotal moments from the previous four seasons, offering a glimpse into the upcoming season. The trailer shows Joyce wielding an axe, Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) at Max’s (Sadie Sink) bedside as she remains in a coma, and a final shot of Will screaming, “Run!”

Season five will take place in the fall of 1987, maintaining the show’s pattern of approximately one-year time jumps between seasons. The entire season will be set in Hawkins, Indiana, a departure from previous seasons that included settings in California and Russia.
