Maximilian Clary and Altreiben has been the private customer board member at Erste Bank Oesterreich since July 2024. Previously, Max was Head of Private Banking & Wealth Management at both Erste Group and Erste Bank Oesterreich. Since 2013 at Erste Group, he has held various positions at strategic positions within the group, including heading the Group Strategy department. The qualified business economist also has an Executive MBA from the London Business School. In his early years at Erste Group he worked in the immediate environment of Andreas Treichl, and before that at RZB/RBI in the immediate environment of Herbert Stepic, probably the two most important Austrian bankers of their time. We talk about Lehman, Covid, zero interest rates and currently about AI, George, the generation depot, Miles & More, #believebandich in several languages, Erste Bank Open as well as the Poland acquisition and the share.
