Stephanie Michelle Scott Nance, 48, of Slaughters, KY, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025, at Hanson, KY.
She was born on Nov. 7, 1977, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Sharon Lee Ashby Holmes and Steven Eugene Scott. She was formerly employed for the last six years as a shift leader at Hardee’s in Hanson, KY. Stephanie was of the Christian faith.
Her survivors include her husband of eleven years, Jeff Nance; sons, Austin (Jade) Bellis and Valik Bellis; daughters, Lillian Patterson and Parris Nance; stepfathers, Stevie McConnell and Larence Holmes; brothers, Larry (Wilma) Scott and Clint Scott; sisters, Crinnia (Edgar) Godinez and Blonie Martin; grandchildren, Rylee, Kynzlee, Lili, Wrenley, Hayden, Baela; a nephew she considered a son, Benjie Onan; and several loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Willis officiating. Burial to follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Hanson.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Monday at the funeral home.
