But it was not yet time to party for the nine academicians. “Under the tree this evening, there is also an elimination looming for one of the students”confides Nikos Aliagas at the start of the show. Because if Anouk is not in danger this week, she who managed to immunize herself by offering herself first position in the evaluations, for the eight other candidates, it was face-to-face that they initially had to compete on the prime.

Face-to-faces and elimination

In fact, each student, in the order of the evaluation ranking, had to choose a candidate against whom they would have to compete on the prime. Each duo sang with a guest artist, before meeting face-to-face. The public then had only a few minutes to decide between them. The candidate eliminated from each duel then found himself on the bench of nominees. At the end of the evening, the public had to make a new choice, this time among the four candidates still in danger.
Craig David… and live nominations
For the first face-to-face of the evening, Bastiaan and Léa faced each other. As a duet alongside Santa, then face-to-face on Alicia Keys’ famous song, “If I Ain’t Got You”. And for the first public vote, it was Bastiaan who was chosen, sending Léa directly to the bench of nominees.
Then, it was Melissa’s turn to confront Sarah. The two candidates shared the stage with international singer Craig David on his two hits “7 Days” and “Walking Away”, before opposing each other on Édith Piaf. And if, on paper, Sarah started with a head start, it was ultimately Mélissa who won the favor of the public, leaving her comrades speechless.
Ambre had chosen to confront Jeanne on the prime. “We have two totally different worlds, I find it interesting to find myself face to face with her”she confided into the tape recorder. It was accompanied by Louane that the two young women sang initially, before opposing each other on “I Love Rock’n Roll”. After a high-flying face-to-face, the public decided to save Ambre.
Finally, Victor, first to choose this week, opposed Théo P. by singing with Léman on his title “The stars”. They then performed George Michael and Elton John’s “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me” together. The audience ultimately chose to save Victor. Théo P. therefore joined Léa, Sarah and Jeanne on the bench of nominees.
Carte blanche and a surprise for Anouk
Immune, the Belgian candidate obtained carte blanche from Jonathan Jenvrin, the singing teacher this week, to offer a tailor-made painting. And it was on the song “Cry Me a River” by Justin Timberlake that Anouk wanted to perform. “We are going to make the history of Star Ac”had launched the professor during the presentation tape, enough to set the tone.
Dressed all in white, the academic once again offered a solid performance, both vocally and in interpretation. “You went beyond my expectations!”confided the dance teacher afterwards.

Later in the evening, another surprise awaited the young Belgian: the appearance, through the secret door of 217, of the singer Barbara Pravi, who came to perform her song “Voilà” with her. A beautiful moment of sharing that the theater teacher, Papy, did not hesitate to salute, once again, for the young student’s talent as a performer.

And the one who leaves the adventure is…
After yet another Christmas table, in which the entire teaching staff and even Nikos participated, a final surprise awaited the academics with the arrival on stage of the eliminated students, led by Théo L. who joined Jeanne. Léa, Sarah, Jeanne and Théo P. then delivered a final performance on the same song, “Je n’avoir pas le temps” by Michel Fugain. It is finally Jeanne who left the adventure this Saturday evening.
