SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) – Two men are being held without bail in connection to a murder on Home Street in Springfield.
The Hampden District Attorney’s Office said 27-year-old Joey Sanchez of Chicopee and 21-year-old Devon Shular of Texas are each facing charges of murder and attempt to commit armed robbery.
They’re accused of killing 27-year-old Shain West on the night of November 30.
Shular was arrested at the hospital where the victim died the next day after having also been shot. He’s due in court for a hearing on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Sanchez was arrested on December 12 and will be back in court February 6.
