The trapped individuals are located approximately one and a half hours from the cave entrance.A fourth person, who was outside the cave, alerted emergency services. “The rescue operations carried out by the SDIS [service départemental d’incendie et de secours] of Isère are underway and will last several hours,” the prefecture added.
