Agustín Escobar had a long and impactful career with Siemens,culminating in his role as Rail Infrastructure CEO worldwide.He was an Industrial Engineer from the Pontifical University of comillas de Madrid (Icai), Executive MBA for the IE Business School in Madrid and MBA from the University of Alcalá, Escobar. He joined siemens in 1998, steadily rising through the ranks.
Mercè Camprubí, also an accomplished professional, was a superior industrial engineer of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. according to ¡Hello! magazine, she focused on innovation and sustainability within the energy sector. Notably, she had strong ties to FC Barcelona, being the granddaughter and great-granddaughter of former club presidents Agustí Montal Galabart and Agustí Montal Costa, respectively. she had been working on projects in the United States and Canada, residing in New York.
Details of the Ill-Fated Flight
The Bell 206 helicopter, according to initial reports, was in the air for approximately 16 minutes before crashing into the Hudson River. Witnesses reported that the helicopter circled the Statue of Liberty before heading towards the George Washington Bridge.The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
