The visualized Linz sound cloud will once again move around 100,000 people to the Linz Danube Park on Saturday. This year she is under the title “Urban Pulse” and calls for participation. The spectacle can also be seen from 8.30 p.m. on ORF ON in the livestream.

Under the title “Urban Pulse”, 80 Knockers, together with the multiprous kussionist Christoph Sietzen, will find the rhythm of the Upper Austrian state capital. The soundtrack on the history is the composer Johannes Berauer, born in Wels. The orchestral work is musically implemented by the Bruckner Orchestra Linz.
This year’s sound cloud does not focus on special effects this year, but on participating in the population. Because the audience is called to drum the characteristic five -rhythm itself.

“It is not only the story, but also the artistic team, which is closely linked to Linz and Upper Austria,” explains the former artistic managing director of Liva, Johanna Möslinger. The experienced concert manager is responsible for the sound cloud this year.
First sound cloud 1979
Since 1979, the visualized Linz sound cloud has been transforming the Danube park between the Lento’s Art Museum and the Brucknerhaus into an open-air stage. The ORF Oberösterreich transmits the major event on the radio and ORF on live. “‘Urban Pulse’ makes the hearts of people beat in the same time. This is exactly what we combine with our slogan ‘We love Upper Austria’,” emphasizes Klaus Obereder, state director of ORF Upper Austria.
