A man was stabbed at the carotid and the kidney late Friday afternoon in Soumagne (Liège province), the Liège prosecutor’s office said on Friday evening. His days are in danger.
The victim was stabbed around 5:00 p.m. near a Soumagne pharmacy. He then entered it to ask for help. A soldier on site tried to provide first aid. Born in 1983, the stabbed man was transported to hospital in critical condition. He is not known to justice.
The victim tried to give information related to a Ravel. The police started research in the nearby Ravel. The objective was to find the fleeing attacker or any clues if the assault had taken place on the spot. The results were not conclusive Friday around 8:30 p.m.
An investigation has been opened and cameras analyzes must be done.
