Sony ULT Field 5 Bluetooth speaker Discounted
The highly-rated portable speaker is now available at a lower price.
Audiophiles looking for a high-quality portable Bluetooth speaker might potentially be interested in a deal on the sony ULT Field 5. Initially priced at $330, the speaker is now on sale for $250. According to a review, when it launched back in April, it was “one of the best-sounding Bluetooth speakers I’ve tested in its size class.” The discount arrives after an initial price reduction ahead of “Memorial Day.”

The ULT Field 5 isn’t the only Sony Bluetooth speaker currently being offered at a reduced price. The ULT Field 3 is available for $150 (originally $200), and the compact ULT Field 1 is priced at $88 (down from $130). While all three are viable options, the ULT Field 5 is considered the best in terms of sound quality.
What is “ULT”?
The “ULT” designation represents SonyS commitment to superior portable audio. It stands for ultimate and signifies “The ultimate step into the evolution of its portable audio products.” According to Sony,Power represents “dynamic sound pressure and deep bass.” sound translates to “as if you were in the front row at a concert.”

The ULT series marks a meaningful improvement in Sony’s Bluetooth speaker sound quality. The ULT Field 3 and ULT Field 5 feature designs that allow for both vertical and horizontal placement. both models boast IP67 certification, making them fully waterproof, dust-proof, and rust-proof. A removable shoulder strap is included, which is particularly useful for the heavier ULT field 5 (7.27 pounds) compared to the ULT Field 3 (2.65 pounds).
