Created in 2008, Défil’Cancer is an IÉSEG student association which organizes a parade like no other every year. His mission? Highlight 10 women affected by or in remission from cancer. In partnership with the Émeraude association of which the models are part, this project offers them a break of confidence, surpassing oneself and self-esteem. This edition will take place on Tuesday March 24, 2026 at ENSAIT in Roubaix on the theme Dancing Queen! For one evening, these models will become ambassadors of a strong message: beauty, strength and femininity do not disappear with illness.

The Défil’Cancer initiative is not just one evening. Throughout the year, the models are supported through various workshops on theatrical improvisation, well-being, convivial moments, as well as a “learning to catwalk” workshop led by a former Miss. These moments offer them the opportunity to prepare for the parade, to gain confidence and stage presence, but also to build strong bonds. In order to finance the parade, events accompanied by raffles are organized throughout the year. The association also participates in committed competitions, in particular it was a double winner of the 2026 Engagement Trophies of the Catholic University of Lille (First Prize and Coup de Cœur Prize) but also a finalist of the EY National Association Prize in the “Inclusion” category. This parade is also made possible thanks to the various partners who lend clothes and accessories, allowing the models to be sublimated. Agnès B., Pao Chaussures, Génération S… all contribute to making this evening a memorable event.
A strong solidarity commitment and an event open to all
All donations collected during the year are donated to two structures committed to the fight against cancer: The League Against Cancer and the Émeraude association. The parade is open to the general public: students, families, professionals, residents of the Lille metropolis… This elegant, moving and committed evening brings together hundreds of spectators each year around an essential cause.
