Société Générale has announced the appointment of Jean-Yves Fillion as General Manager for the Americas.
Jean-Yves Fillion will report directly to Anne-Christine Champion and Alexandre Fleury, who jointly head the wholesale banking and investor solutions department. He will also be a member of the Group Management Committee.
Jean-Yves Fillion joins Société Générale after a 40-year career at BNP Paribas. Most recently, he was Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of BNP Paribas USA. He previously held various leadership positions, including General Manager of BNP Paribas USA, President of CIB Americas and General Manager of CIB Americas.
With over thirty years of experience in the United States, Fillion brings extensive expertise in the American market and a strong customer network.
