The above is the result of new research by American scientists published in the scientific journal Science Daily were published .
A research team from Oregon State University emphasized that improving sleep patterns – including going to bed and getting up at regular times every day – is a simple but effective way to improve patient recovery and survival rates.
Irregular sleep patterns increase the risk of hospitalization, emergency room visits, and even death.
Lead researcher Brooke Schaefer said that maintaining a regular sleep-wake cycle not only improves overall health but also offers significant benefits for heart failure patients.
A study of 32 patients in a hospital found that adequate and regular sleep can be a cost-effective treatment that significantly reduces complications.
Schaefer also warned that disruptions in sleep patterns can impair cardiovascular regulation, thereby increasing health risks for this patient group.
