Juraj Slafkovský trained at the last practice of the Montreal Canadiens in the first formation with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield.
Slafkovský has been playing with Suzuki – Caufield since the beginning of the season. From the middle of November, however, he started joining the “Kid line” with two newcomers – Oliver Kapanen and Ivan Demidov, and together they did well.
Kapanen and Demidov trained with winger Newhook. The remaining formations started in the composition of Bolduc-Evans-Dach and Anderson-Danault-Gallagher.
Juraj Slafkovský is not in the best shape after the successful Olympic Games. Although he has scored two points in three games, he is not performing as well as before and is making mistakes. His attack also failed.
Coach Martin St. Louis is looking for a recipe to get Slafkovský up and running again. It can also be the position again in the first attack.
Montreal will play its next game on the ice of Anaheim on Saturday night.
In the current season, Juraj Slafkovský played 60 games and scored 47 points in them. He needs only four points to equal his career high from last year.
