Members of the Lisbon Lifeguard Station rescued six passengers from a maritime tourist vessel off the cruise terminal today, the National Maritime Authority (AMN) said in a statement.

The alert for the incident was received by the authorities at around 6:00 pm, and the passengers on the vessel, which was without propulsion, were taken to the Navy dock.

All passengers were well, “without the need for medical assistance”, highlights the AMN statement, adding that the two crew members remained on the vessel, where they awaited the arrival of a tow vehicle.
